Housing koi can be an adventure in its self, fun a & easy To do this you need to keep things low maintenance, if it's your first time to have fish you should make a plan and be willing to make adjustments as needed.

	Digging a koi pond to a depth of no less than 2 feet and planting plants on the edge will detour most predators from fishing in you pond. There are many items on the market to help with this problem, netting, electric fence, building a roof over the pond is very effectiv for predators and falling debris, and sprinklers that spray anything that comes close to the pond.
